چکیده
Abstract In this paper we investigate properties of continuous time chiral quantum walks, which possess complex valued edge weights in the underlying graph structure, together with an initial Gaussian wavefunction spread over a number vertices. We demonstrate that, for certain topology and phase matching conditions, are able to direct flow probability amplitudes specific direction inside network. design walk analogue optical circulator is combination cycle semi-infinite chain graphs. Excitations input into from routed directionally biased fashion output different chain. examine detail two port spatially separates excitations flowing back forth between semi-finite chains occupy top or bottom half portion circulator. This setup can be used, example, detect non-Markovian processes, leads information energy back-flow bath system.

Continuous Time Quantum Walks (CTQW)
Quantum computing became a prominent area of research with publications such as Feynman’s 1986 paper suggesting a construction for a Hamiltonian that can implement any quantum circuit [1]. Some of the key results in quantum information science such as Shor’s algorithm [2] and Grover’s algorithm [3] which show speed up over classical algorithms for integer factorisation and database searching ha...
متن کاملContinuous-time quantum walks on star graphs
In this paper, we investigate continuous-time quantum walk on star graphs. It is shown that quantum central limit theorem for a continuous-time quantum walk on star graphs for N -fold star power graph, which are invariant under the quantum component of adjacency matrix, converges to continuous-time quantum walk on K2 graphs (Complete graph with two vertices) and the probability of observing wal...
متن کاملSlow transport by continuous time quantum walks.
Continuous time quantum walks (CTQWs) do not necessarily perform better than their classical counterparts, the continuous time random walks (CTRWs). For one special graph, where a recent analysis showed that in a particular direction of propagation the penetration of the graph is faster by CTQWs than by CTRWs, we demonstrate that in another direction of propagation the opposite is true. In this...
متن کاملNode Centrality for Continuous-Time Quantum Walks
The study of complex networks has recently attracted increasing interest because of the large variety of systems that can be modeled using graphs. A fundamental operation in the analysis of complex networks is that of measuring the centrality of a vertex. In this paper, we propose to measure vertex centrality using a continuous-time quantum walk. More specifically, we relate the importance of a...
متن کاملOne-Dimensional Continuous-Time Quantum Walks
We survey the equations of continuous-time quantum walks on simple one-dimensional lattices, which include the finite and infinite lines and the finite cycle, and compare them with the classical continuous-time Markov chains. The focus of our expository article is on analyzing these processes using the Laplace transform on the stochastic recurrences. The resulting time evolution equations, clas...
